Senior Capstone Project

For my senior year at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, I was required to choose a research topic and to make a suite of deliverables that showcased both my ability to research a topic and to convey that research graphically. For this project I chose to explain 4 concepts that I kept encountering while learning graphic design. These 4 topics were vectors, bezier curves, noise, and blend modes. I wanted to get across the feeling that all the digital imagery graphic designers rely on are rooted in math and code, which is where the motif of the skeuomorphic digital display with their shiny metal bezels comes from.
